TIKKI KABULI

PREPARATION:
Prep:10 minutes(not including cooking chhole)
Cook:1 minute(in microwave)
Makes:6 servings

INGREDIENTS:

12 aloo tikkis(you can buy frozen ones)

200g cooked chhole(chickpeas)-leftover Punjabi chhole will also do

1 medium cucumber, diced

1 small raw mango,chopped(optional)

2tbsp imli(tamarind) chutney or plain imli paste/pulp

Good pinch of black

Pinch of red chilli powder(optional)


























METHOD:

Microwave tikkis for 1 minute on low or heat through on a lightly greased non-stick tawa till just warmed through,about 7 minutes.Break up into bite-sized chunks and set aside.

Seasin chhole to taste.Mix together with tikki chunks,cucumber and mango pieces.Dilute imli chutney to pouring consistency and combine to coat.Sprinkle black salt and chilli powder,and serve as a toothsome chaat with toothpicks,ideally in small leaf katoris.

BROWNIES

INGREDIENTS:
White flour-1 cup

Baking powder-1/2 teaspoon

Chocolate-1 bitter chocolate

Sugar-1 cup(grinded)

Egg-2

Butter-50grms

Strawberries-4 1/2 cup

Walnuts-choppecupd 1/2











METHOD:

Take white flour in a bowl with baking powder and a pinch of salt then
sieve it properly.Now take beater in a pan and put another pan on it then add butter and chocolate to it with grinded sugar and egg,now beat then nicely.Then add chocolate paste,white flour(sieved)and beat again nicely.finally add chopped walnuts(mixed with white flour)and bake at 200 degree untill it turn to dark brown.
An easy trick is to test with a toothpick to see if it is ready or not. Stick the toothpick in and pull it out. If no dough stays on the pick, the cake is done.Now let the brownies cool before you put the strawberry on top then put the brownies in th fridge for 1-2 hours and then you are ready to eat!

CHICKEN IN POTATO BASKET


INGREDIENTS:
chicken-1/2kg
egg -2
white chilli powder-1/2 teaspoon

salt- to taste
cornflour-1/2 cup

vegetable oil-2 tablespoon
ginger,garlic and onion-fine chopped
chilli paste
finely chopped spring onion to garnish










METHOD:

Put chicken in a bowl and add egg,white chilli powder,salt,cornflour and fry untill it become light brown.Now take oil in a pan add chopped garlic,ginger and onion and then saute now add fried chicken to that.Now put the cooked chicken in the potato basket and put the basket on chopped cabbage.And now serve hot with chopped green part of spring onion.

TO MAKE POTATO BASKET:

Take grated potato,salt and cornflour and then mix all together.Now take a sieve bowl and put the mixture and then put another sieve bowl and fry untill it become yellow.
